The Mateel Community Center's Winter Arts Faire has been southern Humboldt's premier holiday arts and craft event for 32 years, and it is annually held on the second weekend of December. Showcasing the handmade wares of over 60 local to international artisans, this beloved winter celebration is a favorite for patrons and vendors alike. Featuring a wide array of continuous local music, delicious gourmet cuisine, a variety of children's activities and storytelling, and a visit from Santa both days, the Winter Arts Faire is the place to be every holiday season. Whether to find that perfect gift, enjoy the great entertainment, or just to mingle with friends by the fireplace over a hot toddy, join us in soaking up the southern Humboldt holiday spirit at the 32nd annual Winter Arts Faire on December 2008. |
