Halloween festivities start a week early this year with the Mateel / KMUD 2014 Halloween Boogie at Mateel Community Center on Friday, October 24th! It’s a Costume Party, Costume Contest, and Rock Extravaganza all in one! No costume required, but be ready to dance for one of the most rockin' parties of the year!
International in flavor, this year's Boogie will feature the Italian-born, UK-based artist Gaudi; the San Francisco-based collective, Afrolicious; and Brazilian-born DJ Marjo Lak all pumping out dance music throughout the night. With or without costumes, come on down the hill and dance the night away!

A Farm-to-Table Dinner and Musical Celebration Fundraiser for the Environmental Protection Information Center (EPIC)

at the Annual Fall Celebration. Dinner, auction and dance for the Wild featuring a four course, family style meal – a true farm to table event – followed by music from San Francisco’s immersive Pink Floyd tribute band, House of Floyd.
The 4 course, family style meal – a true farm to table event – will be prepared by chef Luke Patterson of Arcata's the Other Place and Luke’s Joint. That means delicious and F R E S H! The ingredients will come straight from local farmers and fishermen. Menu to be announced, but will include wild local salmon, and vegan and gluten-free options.
After dinner, guests will be guided toward cosmic destinations HOUSE OF FLOYD performing the music of Pink Floyd.
HOUSE OF FLOYD – is more than a recreation of the original band’s best tracks – much more! This San Francisco-based tribute show puts on an elaborate experience that immerses audiences in the atmospheric authenticity of light and sound that the original Floyd so famously delivered in their live performances. Don’t miss a mind-blowing evening of lights, lasers, surround-sound and special effects with House of Floyd – The Music of Pink Floyd, as they deliver their musical magic to the Mateel Community Center. The Pink Floyd Concert Experience has packed sold out houses throughout the U.S. and their spectacular stage show is not to be missed.
