Community Non Profits

The Mateel Community Center is a unique nonprofit in many ways. One significant opportunity the Mateel holds is that it has the good fortune of frequently serving as a benefactor to a myriad of other nonprofit organizations which abound in our local area.

Nonprofit organizations are critically important to our society as they lead the way in innovation, enriching our lives with cultural art and music, often fill the gaps in medical and social aid, and they focus the energy and ideas of the community they serve by changing dreams into action. They are the beacons of advancing quality of life issues in many communities throughout America.

Several area organizations regularly utilize the Mateel Community Center's hall for their annual meetings, events, lecture series, and other gatherings. Many also participate and help sustain their coffers at our outdoor festivals as vendors or by handing out information on their organization.
